dream, , cute,
In spite of the snow, in spite of the cold
I'll be surfing in Hawaii, such joy untold
Well maybe in dreams
Hear girlies cute screams
Dreams, my friends are much richer than gold

Digital life discourages thinking,
Laptops encourage time sinking,
Really surfing-the-net,
Is indulging a pet,
For PC’s are pet squirrels chewing nuts who are linking.

Beach Boys sounds played as I walked through the door
Gran was smiling as she headed for shore
She shouted out in dismay
As the ironing board gave way
And ended up in a heap on the floor...

Great White Sharks are a Gold Coast wonder
Though crocodiles may steal their thunder
But all surfers know
It is time to go
When kangaroos line up Down Under

There once was a young booger called Bet,
Who was learning ‘bout surfing the ‘net.
As her tutor called Dougal
Introduced her to Google,
She said, ‘Surfing? I’m not even wet.’
*Booger – surfing term for body boarder

sports,
She climbed on the table at tea
and said she was surfing the sea,
I did wonder why,
as tables are dry -
then noticed her puddles of pee...

grandmother,
Granny has found a new trend
With unseen waves to contend
Ironing board skurfing
And living room surfing
Granny's gone off the deep end!

Man, that's Aunt Allie Murphy,
Yeah, ironing board surfing.
See the look on her face,
And She's hooked a great wave.
Pearls with curls then a slurpee

Beach boys on the boom box, surfing away
Gran’s bored, California dreaming all day
She’s drinking whiskey
And feels quite frisky
Climbs on her ironing board, next stop LA

funny, imagination,
She stood on the ironing board frame
Where waves of clothes she’d tame
She surfed on thoughts high
Inside the barrel green room a dame
Landing on the blue waves she did fly!

sports,
I was surfing the Banzai Pipe
When the Backdoor opened like hype
A shark lurking there
Missed me by an hair
But my shorts sure needed a wipe!
Some say the Hawaiian island of O'ahu got its name
from the last words of a surfer who encountered a shark:
"Oh! AH! oo")!

Slave To Wave Who Will Behave
Have often found myself to be a slave,
To water surfing on in form of a wave;
Like me;
Love to see;
Best are those who themselves behave.

Had Been Counting Sheep
Remember when I had parked my jeep,
And then counted sheep without a peep;
Should suggest,
That I rest;
Stopped surfing and soon fell asleep.

Close Shave With Wave In Cave
Were cautiously surfing in a cave,
When there had been a big wave;
While inside,
We could hide;
With sides of wall had close shave.

An offer to make me rich overnight
So simple, this ploy
A matter of much joy
Sell my firstborn and a night with my wife
